A rotation sensor signals the motor, sensing the rotation of the bottom bracket and providing the appropriate support based on the speed of rotation. Even when you don't apply much power, you get comfortable support. Take the Shimano Nexus 7 hub gears plus the five levels of support and clear Ananda D19 LCD display. For optimal operation it is equipped with a battery indicator and an instant view of which support level you are cycling in!
